★ Update option: The YoLink Wise Valve Controller ($140) is a relatively inexpensive computerized shutoff, and you will url the sensor instantly so an alert triggers it without needing Wi-Fi. YoLink also provides other shutoff techniques, but I haven’t been capable to check any of these.
